For an Acoustic Underground virtual concert benefit, on August 2, 2020 to celebrate Jerry Garcia's birthday, and for a music tribute to his solo music and the Grateful Dead, the Shakedown String Band brought the smiles in Ocean Beach, CA for a socially distant show with live art at We Be OB.

We raised money to support the OB Community, the musicians and to benefit the Pioneer School's 'Music & Art Program' for students with autism. pioneerdayschool.org
We also helped to feed the homeless at the Ocean Beach Episcopal Church and brought business to the healthy We Be OB breakfast and lunch spot, near Robb Field. With a suggested donation of $20 (@Aquilino-Soriano on Venmo) fans supported the musicians and the charities during these times and also got entered into a raffle for great prizes! 50% of the proceeds supported the musicians and 50% benefited the charities.
