Rise Above Plastics with Us and the Surfrider Foundation

The carbon footprint that plastic pollution has put on our beaches, oceans, lakes, rivers and so much more is heartbreaking.

On January 4th, 2020 there was a Rally & Press Conference to make California a zero waste day in San Diego, CA. It was profound to be there, listen, and support the first Ocean Beach (San Diego beach community) clean-up with the Surfrider Foundation and Oceana.

It would be incredible if everyone can do their best to take part and help keep California, all over America, and the globe clean. You will feel great doing so and you will be helping to keep the land and waters beautiful.
Please use refillable water bottles/coffee & tea cups, bring your own straws & reusable cutlery to bars and restaurants, even bring your own to-go containers, if you might need them for leftovers. Minimize the use of plastic to the best of your abilities. Support Ocean Friendly Restaurants. Truly all of this will make a difference. Keep an eye out for beach clean-ups, support your local community with outdoor events.
